Hi friends here’s an update of what I’ve been doing here in Medellín! During this past week or so I’ve had the opportunity to do some of my favorite ministries yet!
Last Saturday my team and I got to do kids ministry! We walk to their houses, pick them up, and then take them back to the foundation. We get to play games with them and teach a Bible lesson. It was so refreshing to do something that I love so much!

I’ve always loved kids and teaching but honestly, since being here, the Lord has been growing my heart towards the youth! My favorite ministry we get to do here is youth ministry. We get to go help with a youth group every Saturday night. This past Saturday I got to go help them evangelize! This was one of my favorite nights yet! We went to this park played music, passed out encouraging notes and played soccer with the kids there. Then we went to the main metro station where a few girls and I got to pray for this woman and her two sons. One was deaf and the other had diabetes. They were such a sweet family and we got to pray healing over the boys and blessing and strength over the mother. Then we danced in the square to one of our favorite songs called “Como David”. I just love the people here!
The Lord has been working in my heart so much. This season has not come without its difficulties. Sometimes I really do struggle with homesickness or feeling close to God. Since being in Colombia, God has shown me that He is faithful! He is teaching me to trust Him with everything! I’ve said yes, and where He calls His people He is with them. I’ve learned a lot about God’s silence and to find the beauty in that. I am learning to simply have faith, and that I will not always understand the mind of God. He is revealing to me that His silence is actually an intimate thing. He trusts me to have faith and to lean on Him through everything! I truly believe that this has been such a preparation season, one that I will look back on as a foundation block for the rest of my life of following Jesus!
Little side quests recently have included paragliding, and lots and lots of Rook. (If you’ve never played this game play it now it’s so fun)
PRAYER REQUESTS
*Health for my whole squad
*For the Lord to continue to prepare our hearts to do His work!
Thank you all for your support, I love you and miss you all!
