I’ve officially been at Training Camp for one week and it’s been absolutely amazing! I’m on C Squad (let’s go!) and my squad consists of 38 other racers. Our neighborhood is made up of a bunch of tents lined up in the woods but it honestly couldn’t be a sweeter time! A normal day here in Gainesville Georgia looks like waking up around 6:30 or 7:00. Sometimes we have team workouts, then squad devotions at 7:45, and breakfast at 8:30. We start the morning sessions off with worship and then listen to different teachings and sermons from the World Race leaders. In the afternoon we have some team building, prayer, and then free time! The Lord has already been working through me and through all of my squad mates. I’ve already been challenged and stretched in ways like never before. Between porta potties, bucket showers, and hand washing my laundry, but it’s so awesome! My favorite past times are chillin in my hammock, playing games with my 38 siblings, and having dance parties.
